  • Community Foundation Endowments
    • Our Team Members collectively contribute over $15,000 annually to support the Community Foundations within our footprint, ensuring our communities have the resources they need to grow and thrive for generations to come.

  • Donation Requests
    • We review every request with care and intention, focusing on initiatives that create meaningful impact across our entire footprint.

HHCU Pledge

Our Promise to Members and Communities

Hoosier Hills Credit Union has always believed in being more than a financial institution. We are a partner in the places we call home. In 2021, we took that commitment to a whole new level when HHCU became the frist credit union in the the nation to join the global Pledge 1% movement, a program that inspires companies to dedicate a portion of their profits, time, and resources to strengthen their communities.

Through this pledge, we have woven giving into the fabric of who we are, committing 1% of our net income and 1% of our employee time toward volunteerism, local impact projects, and community partnerships that make a real difference across Southern Indiana.

At HHCU, giving back is not just what we do. It is who we are.

Giving of Our Time

Each Team Member receives 16 paid hours every year to volunteer with organizations and causes that matter to them. In 2024 alone, HHCU employees dedicated nearly 2,000 volunteer hours across our footprint — the equivalent of more than 250 full workdays spent serving others.

From individual acts of kindness to large-scale group projects, our teams showed what it means to live our mission and make a lasting difference. Together, we’re helping our communities grow stronger, one hour at a time.
